Our founder

Mekdes Asha Hope, Psy.D., is the founder of Mekdes Psychological Services, LLC and a licensed psychologist in Maryland.

Education & credentials

  • Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) — Nova Southeastern University, 2020.
  • Clinical Fellowship in Pediatric Psychology — Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine / Kennedy Krieger Institute, 2021.

Clinical training

Dr. Hope completed her internship at Dallas Independent School District in Texas. Her clinical training includes work with children and adolescents in schools, foster care, and outpatient clinics, as well as postdoctoral training at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine with a rotation at Kennedy Krieger Institute.
